We advocate 'relationship centred care' - this means respecting the person we are supporting and valuing their sense of identity. We aim to really get to know the people we are caring for – their life, interests and routines and apply this to the care we provide.
We are committed to providing progressive and innovative support. We pursue the latest advances in dementia care, such as assistive technologies and new therapies, and work in partnership with range of health care professionals, academics and community members to develop our services.
CIC have developed a unique BTEC qualification in Dementia, which gives our staff an excellent understanding of the condition and how best to support people with it.
We have at least one NHS registered Dignity Champion in each of our care homes, so that staff ensure the dignity of the people they care for.
