Meet Emma Oaks - Support Worker...
Emma Oaks’ incredible first year in the care sector has been recognised with a nomination for the Care Newcomer Award at the Great British Care Awards.
Nineteen year old Emma joined Community Integrated Care as a support worker, wanting to find a career that would allow her to make a difference to people’s lives. She has more than achieved this goal, bringing to her role her effervescent personality and passion for life.
Emma had previously worked in the fitness industry and she’s used the skills she gained in this sector in our services too. Always person-centred, Emma finds out what people love in life and then supports them to follow their passions - whether that’s attending the gym, creating art or even just enjoying a good night out at the cinema.
We know that our amazing Care Newcomer, Emma, has many bright years ahead.
