An Accessible Guide To Recycling

Community Integrated Care believes that the people we support should have the same rights as anyone else to reuse, reduce and recycle. That's why we're proud to launch the first accessible guide to recycling for people with care and support needs.

This guide, which is purposely targeted at people receiving support and their support workers or family members, distils the key principles and reasons for recycling in a person-centred way. The document will be distributed as a free resource for care providers, with the aim for it to become widely used in the sector.

Thanks to a grant from the Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority & Veolia Community Fund, Community Integrated Care has undertaken a ground-breaking project enabling people with care and support needs to reycle and become more environmentally engaged.
