We proudly deliver individual, high quality and best value support to people with a wide range of needs. Our Learning Difficulties and Mental Health services provide support for nearly 2000 people from Aberdeenshire to Portsmouth.
CIC was founded in 1988. With the closure of long-stay hospitals, we saw the opportunity to provide each individual in the community with care and support based upon the principles of choice, dignity and respect (a precursor to the person-centred approaches we champion now).

Our staff teams receive excellent, in-depth training. This equips them to recognise and respond sensitively to the individual needs of the people who use our services.

Our ability to deliver best value and our growing reputation for succeeding in providing services where others have failed, makes us a preferred choice for purchasers.

The governments green paper -'Independence well-being and choice...our vision for the future of social care for adults in England' is welcomed by CIC. This builds upon our existing work around the ongoing agenda from 'Valuing people'. Within Scotland we continue to support the implementation of 'The same as you' and work towards the Scottish Executive national programme to promote the new Mental Health Act.
