St Patrick's is a residential care home based in Widnes, Cheshire. Home to 40 people, we pride ourselves on offering high quality care and support.

Care and Support

• We provide 24 hour care and offer specialist care to sufferers of age related conditions, such as dementia.
• As a specialist dementia service, St Patrick's have specialist furnishings and lightings to benefit our residents.
• Our staff receive a range of training, including CIC’s BTEC in Dementia Care qualification.
• Every resident has their own key worker.
• Residents families and friends are always welcome in our home and we regularly host social events which everyone can be part of.
• St Patrick's also hold regular residents meetings so residents can have their say in the running of their home.

• Our home offers a homely, happy and relaxed atmosphere.
• Rooms in St Patrick's are en-suite and residents are encouraged to personlise their rooms with their own treasured belongings.
• All meals are cooked from fresh and we have a varied menu every meal time. We also cater for any specialist dietary requirements.
• We have a large garden which is fully wheelchair accessible.
• Facilities at St Patricks include specialist furnishings, a sensory garden and fully wheelchair accessible transport.
• Our home also includes a ‘snoezelen’ – a sensory stimulation room which uses colourful lights, gentle music, calming aromas, and comforting pillows to relax and engage residents.

An Active Life

• St Patrick's have a specialist activities coordinator who organises regular events in the home and also organises regular day trips.
• Regular activities in the home include bingo, flower arranging, card making, cookery, pamper sessions, gardening and afternoon tea.
• We invite entertainers in to St Patrick's for exciting concerts and performances.
• We support residents pursue their hobbies and interests.
• Churches and places of worship, parks, shops and public transport links are all close by.
