St Luke's is a residential and nursing home based in Runcorn, Cheshire. We cater for up to 56 older people and provide specialist care for people with age related conditions such as Dementia. We excel in providing quality long term and short term care in comfortable environment.
Our Support
- We pride ourselves in providing a supportive and caring atmosphere and believe in respecting every individual’s privacy, beliefs and choices.
- 24-hour specialist support is available for residents and all our staff receive comprehensive training.
- Our staff receive a range of training, including CIC’s unique BTEC in Dementia Care.
- A nurse is always on duty in our home, 24 hours a day.
- Residents have a personal care plan which identifies the correct assistance they need to remain independent.
- We regularly host meetings for residents and relatives to have their say in the running of the home.

- All rooms have en-suite facilities and residents are encouraged to reflect their individuality by furnishing their rooms with ornaments, treasured photographs and furniture.
- St Luke’s has a large, accessible landscaped garden.
- We have spacious communal areas that offer a comfortable area to relax and entertain guests.
- St Lukes includes a number of facilities to support residents with dementia, including a ‘snoezelen’ – a sensory stimulation room which uses soft coloured lights, gentle music, soothing aromas, and comforting pillows to relax and engage our residents.
- We offer a choice of fresh, home-cooked food, all cooked by our chef with our residents’ specialist dietary requirements in mind.
An Active Life
- With no restrictions on visiting hours and regular social events we actively encourage family and friends to visit and be part of life in St Lukes.
- We actively assist all our residents to follow their hobbies and interests.
- St Lukes has a fully accessible vehicle which supports residents transport needs and regularly takes residents out on day trips.
- We ensure residents have access to their local faith group and we support them to remain active within their faith.
