St Catherine's

St Catherine’s is a nursing care home based in Nantwich, Cheshire. Nantwich is a beautiful market town on the banks of the River Weaver and is surrounded by the glorious Cheshire countryside. We cater for up to 40 people and offer high quality care and support for all residents.

Care and Support

• St Catherine’s provides specialist care to older people with a range of needs, including people who are frail or have conditions such as dementia.
• Our friendly and dedicated staff are fully trained to provide care and support 24 hours a day.
• All our residents have a named key worker who helps develop their own personal care plan.
• Some staff in our service have undertaken CIC’s unique BTEC qualification in Dementia Care.
• We have two nurses on duty, 24 hours a day.
• St Catherine’s has achieved NHS Gold Standard Framework Accreditation for our End of Life Care. 
• We hav strong links with Age UK (formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged) and the Alzheimer’s Society.

Home Comforts

• As a specialist dementia service, we have furnishings and lighting to benefit our residents.
• St Catherine's offers a shared lounge area and a spacious quiet area for residents to relax in.
• We have large, award-winning gardens which are excellently maintained and fully accessible to residents of all abilities all year round.
• We are close to local amenities like restaurants, shops, churches and only a short distance from the train station.  
• Our chef cooks delicious, nutritious meals using fresh ingredients.
• Residents are actively encouraged and supported to personalise their rooms.

Active Life

• We have an activities co-ordinator who regularly organises great events for our residents to take part in including: aromatherapy sessions, reminiscence sessions, arm chair exercise and art and crafts.
• St Catherines support the spiritual and cultural beliefs of our residents and ensure they have access to their preferred faith group.
• We host regular social events for residents, their friends and family.
• As part of the local community we often receive visits from local schools and from the local clergy.
• We support our residents to go on days out across Cheshire.
