Green Heys

Green Heys is a 44 bed nursing and residential home based in the heart of Waterloo, Merseyside. We provide specialist residential support and 24-hour nursing care to older people, including people with dementia and other age-related conditions.

With our excellent facilities, wide range of activities and commitment to providing you with the highest standards, we will offer you the very best in Senior Care.

Our support

• Green Heys provides specialist senior care to older people with a range of needs, including people who are frail or have conditions such as dementia.
• All of our staff receive a range of specialist training and are available 24-hours a day.
• We also have a nurse on duty, day and night.
• Each resident in our service has a personal care plan which identifies the support they require, to promote their independence and choice.
• We have strong links with the Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia support charity.

Home comforts

• Residents have their own large en-suite bedroom, which can be personalised and furnished to their own taste.
• As a specialist dementia service, we have specialist facilities to benefit our residents.
• We have many recreational amenities including an activity room, hairdressing facilities, lounges and a large sensory garden.
• Our chef cooks a range of delicious meals each day, using nutritious and fresh ingredients.

An active life

• We have no restrictions to visiting hours and encourage resident’s family and friends to be involved in life in our home.
• We support all our residents to follow their hobbies and interests.
• Green Heys runs an extensive activity programme, offering fun activities such as arts and crafts, reminiscence, cinema afternoons, plus music and entertainment.
• We have our own wheelchair adapted vehicle for regular day trips and to meet the transport needs of our residents.
• We support the religious and cultural beliefs of our residents and ensure they have access to their preferred local faith group.
• Green Heys is part of the Waterloo community and is regularly visited by local schools and community groups.
