Gardner House

Gardner House is a residential care home based in the heart of Hartlepool on the North East coast. Home to 29 people, Gardner House has views of the beautiful County Durham countryside.

Care and Support

• Our highly trained staff provide care and support 24 hours a day.
• All residents have a personal care plan, devised in conjuction with them and their families, to support their individual needs and wishes.
• Every individual has their own key worker and residents are also invited to take part in regular forums to have their input on how the home is run.
• Gardner House has achieved the NHS Gold Standard for End of Life Care.
• We have close links to local advocacy groups.

Home Comforts

• Residents are actively encouraged to personalise their room.
• We offer residents a choice of home cooked food which is made from fresh, nutritious ingredients.
• The fully accessible garden is enjoyed all year round.
• Couples can be accommodated for.

An Active Life

• Regular activities take place at our home, including: quizzes, bingo, day trips, reminiscence sessions and social events for both residents and family.
• We support residents to follow their faith and are based close to local churches and places of worship.
• Gardner House is part of the local community and has regular visits from the schools, community groups and the local clergy.
• We having no restrictions on visiting hours and actively encourage friends and families to be part of life at Gardner House.
