Senior Care
CIC has provided quality care and support services for older people in Scotland for almost 15 years. We have six Senior Care services based in Dumfries and Galloway and Stranraer that deliver:
We work in partnership with a diverse range of professionals including academics, advocacy groups, local commissioning teams, clinicians and GP's to develop our excellent services.
Our Senior Care homes
All of our homes are focused on meeting the health, wellbeing and social needs of the people we support. By providing support from well trained and caring staff in homely, purpose-built facilities, we are able to maximise their dignity, comfort and independence.
Every CIC Senior Care home has at least one NHS registered Dignity Champion. Our services also employ a wide range of assistive technologies including floor, mattress and door sensors, as well as the likes of the Buddi and Just Checking systems.
We provide Day Care support in all of our homes.

Specialist Dementia Services
Our homes also deliver specialist support for people with dementia. Our dementia care services are tailored around the needs of the people we support and are focussed on improving their physical and mental health, and overall wellbeing.
We have undertaken training in partnership with Stirling University and Alzheimer's Scotland. Many of our staff have completed CIC's unique BTEC in Dementia Care qualification. We use assistive technologies to maximise safety and independence.

End of Life Care
Our services work with their local NHS End of Life Lead and we have our own national policy for End of Life Care called the 'CIC End of Life Care Pathway'.
