CIC have joined a number of national schemes to encourage people to work in the care sector. We’ve signed up to ‘Backing Young
Britain’ – a national campaign to create new opportunities for thousands of young people during the recession. We have also formed a Local Employment Partnership with Job Centre Plus to help people move from welfare to sustained employment, offered our support to the New Diploma’s for 14 to 19 Year Olds by providing careers advice to
North West based schools and devised an Apprenticeship Programme.
CIC HR manager, Paula Hilton, explained, “At CIC we are committed to giving everyone opportunities and this is certainly the case when it comes to employment. We really believe that the care sector deserves the best possible employees and therefore we want to provide career opportunities to anyone with the right attitude and aptitude to succeed. The new schemes we have joined are really exciting and we hope to attract some excellent recruits who might otherwise not have considered a career in care.”
