CIC Vocational Support Service achieve employment first.

CIC’s Vocational Support Service, Liverpool, are the first employment service in the UK to have achieved Autism Accreditation status.


The Autism Accreditation programme, run by The National Autistic Society, is aimed at improving the quality of care and support provision for people with an autism spectrum disorder.

Manager Howard Rice said, “Too many employers are unaware of the skills that people within the autism spectrum can offer. At Vocational Support we are committed to ensuring that integrated and valued employment is a real option for people with a wide range of needs and abilities. I believe our team's work over the past 18 months to achieve accreditation really demonstrates our commitment and provides a seal of quality for the work we do.”
