About us

CIC's Vocational Support Service is committed to facilitating people with learning disabilities and mental health issues into integrated and valued employment.

Our service is based on individual preference and provides support to both the employer and jobseeker. The significance of employment in society can not be over estimated. It is frequently viewed as the primary measure of an individual's personal and social worth.
For those who have the opportunity to participate, paid work can be an important source of self–esteem and economic independence. Given these benefits, it is not surprising that people with additional needs have expressed the desire, common to most people within our community, for paid employment. Vocational Support Services focuses on meeting this need.
Our service seeks a range of work opportunities for people with additional needs that match their individual aspirations. Employees are engaged in employment situations that have a positive value for employers, co-workers and society at large.
