CIC have proudly delivered services that are built around the needs and aspirations of the people we support for over two decades. Because of this commitment to person centred care, we have fully supported the Personalisation Agenda and provide a wide range of flexible services to people with Individual Budgets.

All over the UK, CIC are supporting an increasing number of people, of all ages and backgrounds, with personalised budgets. We provide them with tailored packages of support that meets their budget and goals.

How CIC can support you to make the most of your individual budget:

We ensure that the people we support have maximum control over the services they receive, ensuring we fit services around the persons need.

You choose:

• How much care and support you want
• How and where you get it
• Who you get it from.

CIC is flexible and responsive to your individual needs. Here are some activities we can support you to do:

• Access leisure pursuits (cinemas, restaurants, pursuing hobbies, sports etc.)
• Fulfil talents and skills throughout activities
• Access holidays (home and abroad)
• Access employment and training
• Access community activities
• Maintain links with family and friends
• Network with other agencies.

CIC can also provide practical help and support to you (and your family), such as:

• Advice and help to claim welfare and housing benefit
• Advice and help with assistive technology
• Support with personal care
• Help to recruit the best person to provide support.

Our experience

• CIC have supported the Personalisation Agenda since its inception, participating in the first government ‘In Control’ pilot.
