Orchard House
Orchard House is a modern, purpose built Homelessness service based in Widnes, Cheshire. We provide accommodation, support, training and advice to homeless young adults aged 16 to 25. As a small project, which only caters for up to six people at a time, staff are always on hand to help with any problems tenants may face.
With spacious and comfortable communal areas, a large and enclosed garden and six private one room apartments, our home challenges all the negative expectations of homeless accommodation.
Our Support
We provide tenure based support, which includes basic life skills training and budgeting advice. Orchard House works with clients to access their own affordable independent tenancies through our Move On programme.
Orchard House is staffed by four Support Staff, a Senior Support worker and a Project Manager. All staff have enhanced CRB status and are highly trained in areas relating to Safeguarding, Child Protection, POVA and fully comply with General social care Code of Conduct.
