CIC Homelessness services provide housing, personal development, education and training opportunities for homeless people. We focus on the person rather than the problem, tailoring our services to meet specific need.

We understand that without the security of a home, it is impossible for many individuals to reach their full potential. With security, support to access employment or training and a healthy, supportive living environment, people affected by homelessness flourish, achieving progression, and importantly, their own personal aspirations.

"I feel secure here and more independent. I'm doing a training course and going to be getting my own flat now." Rob 18, Halton Goals

CIC have developed national strategies on person-centred planning and social inclusion to enable people to transform their lives and feel they belong. We work with homeless individuals from a variety of backgrounds, often with complex needs and always strive to provide innovative solutions to suit each person.

Promoting social integration we work in the community with local commissioners and partner agencies, such as housing providers, social and health care services, probation, GP's, colleges and employers, to ensure that the services we provide are innovative, relevant, accessible and best value for everyone.

Our services help the individuals we support to

  • Develop domestic and life skills
  • Access emotional support, advice and guidance
  • Links individuals to local training
