Corporate Volunteering
Each year, CIC welcomes lots of companies, both large and small, who are looking to demonstrate their dedication to developing community partnerships, building a committed workforce and breaking down social barriers.
They do this by taking part in our team volunteering challenges, giving their employees the opportunity to test and build their skills and experience outside of the office environment, whilst doing something worthwhile and enjoyable for their local communities too; improving corporate culture and building job satisfaction along the way.
Benefits of Employee Volunteering
Through team volunteering, your employees can gain and enhance numerous skills, in a positive and rewarding environment, such as project management, communication, teamwork and negotiation.
Already we have formed great partnerships with a range of local and national companies, such as Barclays Banks, Deloitte and Manchester Airport, whose staff have taken part in challenging, but enjoyable and cost-effective volunteer experiences. Your company can enjoy all the benefits of a traditional team building day, whilst making a difference to our charity.
Just a few of the types of projects we can offer:-
- Build a sensory garden for one of our senior care homes.
- Organise a special event for our service users.
- Transform one of our services by painting and decorating.
- Create a reminiscence room in one of our senior care homes.
- Help refurbish relaxation areas in our homelessness projects.
