For the 5th year running CIC chefs Avril Haycock and Elizabeth Johnson have been awarded a Gold Food Safety Award from Vale Royal Borough Council for the excellent standards within their kitchens at Winsford Grange residential home in Cheshire.
"The council drops in to venues 'out of the blue' to inspect kitchens in their locality," explains service administrator, Diane Maynard. "After visiting Winsford Grange they awarded Avril and Elizabeth with a special award, which recognises the highest standards of safety and hygiene within the borough." The Mayoress of Vale Royal presented the chefs with their latest certificate at a special award dinner last year.
