Munches Park is a 29 bed care home which provides permanent, respite and day care and support for older people. Situated in the small town of Dalbeattie, the home overlooks Colliston Park and is just 6 miles from Castle Douglas. Our home is at the heart of the community; close to Dalbeattie’s shops, restaurants, parks and churches. Also within easy reach are all local transport routes and services.

Munches Park offers a homely, happy and relaxed atmosphere, which is superbly designed and offers easy access for wheelchair users. Our home has recently been refurbished to a high standard and the interior professionally designed with the involvement of both residents and colleagues. All rooms have en-suite facilities complete with televisions and access for telephone points.

Couples can be accommodated for at Munches Park by converting rooms into a bedroom and sitting room arrangement. You are encouraged to reflect your individuality in the décor of your room. You can personalise your room with your own treasured photographs, ornaments and furnishings, if you wish. Munches Park offers a shared lounge area, plus several smaller sitting areas, a quiet room and a spacious communal dining room. Our large garden and grounds provide pleasant and secure environments for residents who enjoy being outdoors.
