At CIC’s Green Heys, a huge emphasis is placed on providing you with a home from home environment, treating you with dignity and respect, recognising your rights and your need for privacy.

Green Heys is a 43 bed care home which provides care and support for older people suffering from mental health problems. We provide long-term care but can also provide short term care should you require it. At Green Heys you will have a named nurse who is responsible for your individualised Care Plan. This is compiled together with both you and your family, it is regularly evaluated according to your changing needs. The Care Plan promotes independence and choices. It respects personal belief systems and if required addresses your physical and mental health issues.

Each individual who lives with us has a key worker who is assisted by a named support worker. At Green Heys we have qualified nurses on duty at all times. Green Heys offers a homely, supportive and caring atmosphere, which is comfortably designed and offers easy access for wheelchair users. All rooms are en-suite complete with television and telephone points. You are encouraged to reflect your individuality in the décor of your room. You can personalise your room with your own treasured photographs, ornaments and furniture, if you wish.

Green Heys also offers a shared lounge area, a quiet room, a designated smoking lounge, and a spacious communal dining room. Our large garden area provides a pleasant and secure environment for residents who enjoy being outdoors.
