Cornwall Park is a 30 bed care home which provides care and support for older people in south west Scotland. It is situated in the small market town of Newton Stewart on the banks of the river Cree. Cornwall Park overlooks the Galloway Hills and is surrounded by an area of outstanding beauty and tranquillity. Our home is within walking distance of local shops, park, banks and churches. Also within easy reach are all major transport routes and services.

Cornwall Park offers a homely, happy and relaxed atmosphere, which is comfortably designed and offers easy access for wheelchair users. Our home has recently been refurbished to a high standard and comprises of two floors divided into small living areas. All rooms have en-suite facilities and include televisions as well as providing individual telephone points. You are encouraged to reflect your individuality in the décor of your own room. You can personalise your room with your own treasured photographs, ornaments and furnishings, if you wish.

Cornwall Park offers four shared lounge areas, plus a designated smokers lounge, a quiet room and a spacious communal dining room. The grounds of our home offer a pleasant, safe and secure environment. We have landscaped areas with tables and seating complete with summer house and greenhouse for residents who enjoy being outdoors.
