Vocational Support
Vocational Support is CIC’s Liverpool based supported employment day service, assisting people with learning difficulties, mental health concerns and autism to access employment and vocational training.
Our service supports people across Merseyside to find the right job for them by:-
identifying their individual skills, interests, aspirations and goals; - finding the right vocational training and qualifications;
- helping find work experience and job taster placements;
- offering on-going support throughout their employment.
We work closely with lots of different types of employers, seeking a wide range of job roles which offer the people we support a real opportunity to become valued and integrated team members. Our service users are able to make a genuine and positive contribution to their workplace, enjoying the sense of empowerment, independence and achievement which working brings
Autism Accreditation
At Vocational Support we have lots of experience in supporting people on the autistic spectrum. Reflecting this, we were the first supported employment service in the country to achieve Autism Accreditation status, formally recognising our best practice approach to supporting people with autism.
